They are a select group of Textures (PPAT's) that I have created for the Mac background screen utility 'Desktop Textures Installer'. They were created using various techniques, but most involved Adobe Photoshop, Fractal Design Painter, Kai Power Tools, and Xaos Paint Alchemy. Many, many thanks to the creators of all the above programs!

They are Freeware, so feel free to distribute and use any or all of them, as long as this message accompanies them and they are distributed freely.

If you really enjoy a particular Texture, let me know, and when I've got some free time, I'll make up another group using that style as a base.
